Another thing to consider is that most of you will lose your guns if either of the aforementioned are elected. This means that you can no longer go out and shoot those poor little coyotes that are practically endangered or even more sad are those cute little prairie dogs. When I was living in Big Spring (TX), we used to go and shoot trap at our local closed-down air base and in between rounds we would shoot some 'dogs. Then, you could shoot at any range you wanted , from 100yds to 800yds if you wanted. But the local do-gooders put a stop to that.
It just scares the hell out of me that the Supreme Court is looking at the Second Amendment. No telling which way that will go.
Anyway, sorry for the rant but I , for one, having been brought up with guns will NEVER be without one, no matter who is in office. And be assured, if either one is elected you can count the days til this will happen.

    To Traveler:

I have a different proposal--a duel at 50 paces. Winner take all, inclusive of the loser's assets and super model girlfriend.

Gotta go now, my Bugatti Veyron 16.4 just arrived and I promised my gal, Gisele Bundchen, that I'd take her to lunch at Per Se before we leave for Monaco.

You think you're such a hot shot, do you? You obviously have no idea who you're dealing with, my friend...

    Alright, look.
I'm devoting way too much time to fighting with some of you guys who, aside from our political differences, I otherwise like and admire.
It's often hard to discern the tone of a post in terms of whether the author's intention is to truly bust balls, or to merely engage in some good natured ribbing.
While I KNOW and am right and you other guys are TOTALLY WRONG, I'd rather be a lover than a fighter on this site (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Sooo--I hereby pledge that I will earnestly try to refrain from engaging in heated rhetoric with certain members who I may have deep, deep, really deep philosophical, sociological and political differences with. This board is way too valuable of a resource for me to want to alienate myself from others who, while they may be TOTALLY WRONG, are nonetheless members of a community I value.

So there you have it. Anyone care to argue with what I just said???

Yeah, me, too. No sense trying to convince someone you're right and they're wrong, even if you can prove it. Just serves to entrench them deeper in their position and not listen to other points of view. Don't know why that is, either...I'm not married to my viewpoint. It can, and does, change when I see proof that alters my view. But that's human nature, I guess. Anyhow, I'm staying the hell away from political stuff except to make jokes. I'll stick to razors and blades. I feel warm and fuzzy now. Must be gas.

I'm glad to see both of you have come to your senses and the bet is called off. As much as I enjoy entertainment, showing off who's the bigger fool to keep planes, yachts and moneys in assets visible by the public is just a bad taste. I for one am a proud no owner of any such items. It was ridiculously cheap to set it up this way too - cost me only a coupla galons of diamonds iirc.
Gary, you certainly know my gripes with weighing money, (1) the hundredweight unit is too small - cubic furlong is much better and I suspect that many of us could use the cubic miles if we have to start really measuring (2) conveneience - when measured by volume I can just eyball it and have a pretty good idea, as opposed of getting all the slaves to move moneys back and forth for days. I've seen in my family records diamonds were once measured in pints - I guess they had all the time in the world back then.
Anyways, I am an eccentric myself but I can't help but cringe every time I see how you guys keep boasting off the commercial product you use as if that's the pinnacle in bimbos. Oh, well, I suppose there is only so much blue blood to go around esp. if you're like me and have them single use only.
ok, i'll be polite and sign - your shadowy master
