    I hate to break it to you Bruno, but I suspect your oldest is going to have the same qualities as the 12 year old in the story!

    Actually, as soon as I read the story, I thought the same thing.
    My youngest is someone who observes people and thinks before she does.
    My oldest is like me. She does before she thinks.
    And she is also a natural 'leader of the pack' which is a trait she got from my wife.

    I can easily see her running after he thief with a ladle, yelling 'Give me my mony back, you twerp, or I will kick your ass.'

    Despite my earlier post about the ill advised nature of the little girl pursuing the guy, I do admire her courage, I think it could have been exercised more wisely though.

    Now had it been me, there would have been no pursuit. I would have just called the cops "yes, officer, thats right, he was robbing me and I feared for my life, I thought he was armed......."
