Man, I guess the lesson on this forum is to never f*ck with a man who shaves with a straight razor!
Since this is Canada, and carrying concealed handguns is out of the question (and I'm very glad for that), the guns aren't always that visible, but they are here.
I own a couple of .22's, and that's about it. But I guess I have access to my Dad's .308, 12 guage, Semi-Auto .22 and other weapons.

Thanked: 79If you are into shotguns (other than the beautiful, engraved, type) Benelli's are S-W-E-E-T.... I have only had opportunity to use the military version, but quality needs no introduction.
Just my opinion,
John P.

Time's a changing!!
Wow... I step away for a few weeks (ok a couple months) and come back to a very colorful forum and can barely find my way around hahah!! And to top it all off I've nearly missed my all time favorite topics.
JohnP, you said a mouth full! I've long been a fan of the Mossy 500 pumps, in fact I've only owned Mossberg scatter guns for years (aside form doubles that is)... but that Benelli M4 is an amazing work of art! Never has a shotgun been so smooth, reliable, and fast... I have also never felt a geometry on a shotgun that was THAT natural...I dont know anything about their sporting guns (heard alot of good, nothing at all bad short of their price) but I'd take that M4 into any hot zone with confidence!
Some one mentioned watning a .17HMR pistol... Have you guys seen these little gems?
Yes that IS a belt fed, fully auto .17HMR haha.... pretty damn cute if you ask me!
Here is their site and they have some other full auto .17's and .22's including gatlins and belt fed rifles (yea they are still class 3).

Humm..favorites.. well.. I have too many favorites to mention.. but the few that hold a special place in my heart are my Texas Brigade Armory M40A1 topped with USO SN3 and my Winchester 94 in .356win for long guns... the H&k P7 is my favorite side arm, however I adore revolvers and my S&W M13 will forever hold a special place in my heart haha... Just to name a few...
I really miss my firearms, since many of them aren not "cali-legal" and I would have to modify them, get rid of them or get special permits and go through papper work (and of course FEE's cant forget the fee's) just to bring them to this god-forsaken state I just left them all in UT with my father ...

Hi Kelly,
Been a while since I've seen that signature! Nice to see you back, and thanx for the help back there
Sorry, I cannot post anything smart here, the only gun that I own is a water pistol. Made in China, I think. 6oz water reserve. Carries a bit to the left...

Hey there Superfly,
Yea It's been a while since I've been around here haha.. appearently too long, since things have gone all lime green and baby blue?!?!
No problem and your welcome for what little help I could offerHow's that DOVO treating you these days?
Hey again JohnP,
Isn't it sad that a state with so much military force and occupation passed laws that made many of their own law enforcement officers felons.. I could never sell many of my firearms, but i knew better than to try and bring them with me.
The M40 was made to order, as pretty much all TBA rifels are... and there is usually a significant wait for one (some times unreasonably long, border line wondering if you've been ripped off long).
If your interested in TBA rifle here is their site:
http://texasbrigadearmory.com/
They do M40's as well as M24's and DMR's... but they arent cheap(even by custom built standards), and the dont come fast (if they are even still doing business its been about 6-7 years since I got mine)
Another place that does excellent, mil-spec (possibly exceeding) tactical rifles is GA Precision ( http://www.gaprecision.net/ ) and George can build you an M40, M24, DMR what ever floats your boat.

Thanked: 4942Thanks Bob. I'm gonna check it out. The company I work for has a limited membership at a nice range here in Medina, OH. I think I'm gonna get the chance for some lessons soon as well as a couple of our guys are sproting clay instructors and shoot weekly there plus supervise company events. Lynn

Thanked: 79Kelly,
I hear you. Before being sent to Cali (first to Point Mugu, then San Diego) I sold a lot of my guns, didn't want the commies in Sacramento to get them, lol
Out of shotguns I can AFFORD, well then, Mossberg would probably do it for me, too, but that Benelli. WOW.
Your M40-did you have to special order it or is it something that company normally keeps a few made-up of? Those are really nice rifles.

Thanked: 1Lynn...
This is probably the best place to go for shotgun questions.
http://www.trapshooters.com/cfpages/threads.cfm
These guys know a lot of stuff. Just don't ask any questions about SKB's or skeeters. Everything gets ugly with those two topics.
Go to these three places for some good prices...
http://www.auctionarms.com/
http://www.gunbroker.com/
http://gunsamerica.com/
you can't go wrong with one of these...
or this one...
I have to go take a cold shower now...
