Guns!
Well I have a 625 .45 ACP revolver, 2 x 1911s (both Kimber), an XD-9 I do most of my competition with (IPSC). a .357 K frame revolver and two J frames a .357 and a lightweight .38 special...and a 325 I hate to shoot...hurts like hell. Couple a shotguns (I only shoot over and unders) I love shooting the 640 in .357 mag, great fun. I carry one of the 1911s and sometimes the J frames. I have IPSCd for about 3 years, carried concealed for one year. I have been getting into bow shooting lately. I find the XD-9 the most reliable weapon ever, auto atleast. I like the extra safety on the 1911 for safety. I don't like carrying a cocked and locked gun but it carries the easiest. I like carrying the J frame revolvers but they don't carry as easy as the 1911. I've owned a couple of rifles but there isn't much place to shoot here in Virginia I don't think....

Thanked: 4My first love has always been handguns (more of a challenge). I've shoot (and reload for) a restored 1896 Mauser, P08, CZ52, DW.357, old .44 mag SBH, a couple of .45ACPs, and my beloved .44 AutoMag. I've also got quite a few military rifles of various eras, actions and calibers.
Three reloading presses, no waiting.

Thanked: 0On duty, I carry a 9mm S&W (brick). Off duty, H&K USP Compact .45ACP. There is just something I love about all H&Ks. Ive never been a big Glock fan. I bought the Glock 36 (slimline .45) but the shell casings constantly landed on my head. I live just a few miles from the Glock assembly plant in Smyrna, Ga so I took it to a friend that works there. He looked at it and said that there was nothing wrong with it. I sold it and bought my H&K. I also own a .38 S&W snubnose.
My only rifle is a Weatherby .300mag (2200fps @500yds) amazing rifle. My wife bought it for me as a deer rifle. I havent seen any deer around here that could use a hole as big as this rifle will provide. I want the ruger .17HMR...

Thanked: 4942I have to try one of those H&K's. I've been looking for another 1911 but........ Love my .45's. Not the easiest to carry, but always make a statement. 8) Lynn

Thanked: 4Aww, come on Lynn. It is in the proper forum. We could get even further from shaving and cover, say, beard combing and braiding.

Thanked: 0His rifles are all individually made to order. As is usually the case with such customized work, discounts aren't normally discussed. Furthermore, his name in fine rifles is bigger than mine, in my industry (I can't get him any discounts). But it never hurts to try! He's quite a "character," I'd think he'd be a candidate for Str8 Razor Shaving. So, if you get serious about it, send me an e-mail and I'll connect you,... 8)
