Thanked: 79Black Lab *mix?* from the humane society. Got him as a "package deal" with the girlfriend. He's a good dog; probably 4 or 5 years old now.

Thanked: 0For many years I had an Australian Red speckled cattle dog and before that a blue heeler. I guess these are a breed that wouldn't be very common in the US. Had to get give the dog away when I moved of the Acreage into the city, these are working dogs and they don't like being hemmed in.

Thanked: 79John,
You can get those in the states-we just went looking at dogs (humane society) last week -oops- 2 weeks ago-and they had three; Also some of my really good friends who now live in Virginia have 2, one aptly named "Aussie" and the other Cody.

Italian Greyhound named Enzo. A miniature Greyhound, in other words. This dog is a psycho. Never uttered even a growl in anger, heart as big as they come. Damned near impossible to house train. He is fast as lightning, incredible amounts of energy, very exciteable - I swear he's going to explode one of these days when I come home. Regretfully we had to give him to my sister a few months back when my wife took ill. Apparently he was a source of stress that was dispensable. We would have kept him if family didn't want him, but my sister was all too happy. It's cool though I still get to see him every month or two.

No dog, just cats. I lived with a woman for a few years who had to have cats. I got rid of her but she left the cats. One good thing: our city has been over run with mice this summer, but none around my house.lol

Thanked: 15I have a Yorkshire Terrier. The only reason I have it is because my wife wanted one and went and bought one. But I warmed up to it pretty quick and my daughter and the puppy get along great. So I guess it is a good thing. A big plus about this puppy is that when full grown it should only be around 3 lbs.and wont go through 20 lbs of dog food every week like some dogs I have had in the past.
