BAD move. In my somewhat limited experience with men that have singel or double barrell shotguns in their hands tend to KNOW HOW TO SHOOT.
Now, the site for the AA-12 is blocked at work, and I'm sure in skille dhands it is a dangerous piece of equipment, but i bet it isn't as fast to get on target or as instinctive to shoot as the extensions of one's body that I have seen in the form of a nice over-under or single-shot.
Edit: OK, just found I site I could see it and watch a video of it in use. nevermind my previous statemetn. Old guys with over/unders can shoot...but a near zero recoil FULL auto 12 gauge....I think I need that.Last edited by smokelaw1; 07-10-2009 at 06:41 PM.

As I read that, I thought "he really hasn't seen the video yet"
I'm not saying people with single shots can't shoot, but that AA-12 has killer distance, plus the huge mag and zero recoil. A child could tear through anyone with that, no matter how bad of a shot they are.

Love this thread!
Though I have found it funnily sexist in places, "there will be plenty of damsels in distress to save".Yet ironically one gent has posted a reference to Kate Beckinsdale in Underworld and another posted a photo of Mila Jovovitch a la Resident Evil.
I am almost ready for the invasion of the Zombies, I already own a double headed battle axe and a 42" broadsword. I would add a customised crossbow to my list, one capable of firing off circular saw blades, perfect for decapitating at a distance. And a flamethrower for the Sigourney weaver "bad ass chick" posing look.
If it got close enough for a melee, then the sword and axe would be flying! If or when I got bitten I would be the first to yell "Shoot me now".
It's ok boys, I will either save you or shoot you depending on your physical status, hehehe.

Have you seen how poorly Kate Beckinsale shoots in underworld? She had automatic weapons and couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. She was most definitely a damsel in distress.

This old favorite always brings back fond memories...well, memories anyway...
M3 "grease gun" suppressed. WW2 vintage, also used in Vietnam (and later).
Low recoil, easily controllable, .45 caliber holes, and a rate-of-fire slow enough to allow excellent accuracy.

I was just saying that not all girls are "damsels in distress", some of us are capable of handling ourselves.
See what you guys haven't thought about, or haven't mentioned openly is the ideal front row defence in any zombie attack, is 30+ women with PMT. Give that rage some healthy direction.
Agent Orange - "Sorry ladies, due to the zombies there is no more chocolate!!!"
Furious mob of angry women with PMT (with strategically ripped clothing) - "WHAT??!!!!! @&*&@^!! Charge!!!!!!!!"
