joke will happen both ways...
we have to deal with em..no matter what party are you on...
the problem is that the joke from you side are just jokes and the jokes from the other side are tasteless jokes...
that was my point...

I am not a fan of any racist "jokes." many have already said this. And I don't think all liberals are racist because of biden or murtha for that matter. That is why I started posting here in the first place, we all know that this was a troll thread, I just wanted to state my opinion that just because one member of a party commits a mistake, it doesn't mean that all party members share similar views. That's like saying all catholic priests want to molest children.

One person's "racist" remarks are another person's freedom of speech. I think we were all born with the freedom to freely express ourselves. At least when I took my oath of office in the military I thought I was to defend the constitution to protect those freedoms. I wasn't asked if I liked or agreed what the person said, or if it hurt someone's feelings. I don't ever remember reading in the Constitution that speech couldn't do that. If I missed it please point out where it is written in there so I can review it.

No, there isn't. There is no line. Please show me in the Constitution where what you said is true. It's freedom of speech. You are allowed to think and say what you like. I will defend to my dying breath your right to say what you just did, as I will for anyone else. And who defines that line? You? Me? There are lots of bigots, racists, etc... But that is their right to be and to say as they wish. I hate and abhor the Nazi party in the US. But they have freedom of speech just as you and I do. I just choose to tune them out.

whatever help you sleep at night brother...
if you feel that been racist is "observing your right of speech" that's ok...
anyway...
the right of speech is to protect us against the government...
we can protest and say how much x or y government sucks...
but when you go to HATE speech that's another story...
but again...if THINKING that you have the right to be a jerk (as in having the right to be racist) keeps you happy...well so be it...

no reason to post negative or positive post when talking about politics!
