I would mind. People are getting pretty trigger happy with the negative rep these days. Your post looked pretty mild to me. Maybe whoever gave it to you will reconsider and retract?

Not likely. If they are too cowardly to take credit for their opinions they are likely too arrogant to think their opinion wrong.

It just reminds me of the little boy who would hide behind the bushes, throw stones and then run. Its a conversation where opinions are expressed. Anyone else would make an appropriate comment on a statement. BJ2 is no slacker and has my respect as a poster in the conversation, although we are the opposite philosophically I appreciate his candor as well as his insight, at times I have even agreed with him and believe I have thanked him a time or two for his posts. BJ2, if I have offended you, please say so publicly and I will make the appropriate amends. Sir your comments are welcome.

Yeah, I got a negative rep just the other day because the fellow was " horrified at my prejudice and violence". I suggested that the man who tattooed the girl's face with the 56 Xs should get a beating and I didn't like his facial tattoos and piercings. I don't mind the negative if the fellow thought he needed to leave it. OTOH, let's make it like ebay and say that "name here" dissapproves of this post.

Stupid question, but how does one know if they've been given negative rep?
