While it's nice to see this, the real test will be in November. I just hope that America doesn't have the short term memory of past elections.....

Thanked: 1371Let's not forget that the reason the democrats are in control of everything is because the republicans acted like a bunch of idiots when they were in charge.
I would have a lot more confidence in the country being "saved" if they would have put another Kennedy in office.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

I would have more confidence in the country being "saved" if the citizenry would stop, once and for all believing that one side of the same coin is better than the other. It's a sham, a facade and a diversion. It's all the same thing. Like the WWF, they attack each other and thump their chests in front of the public and then walk hand in hand off camera. It's a show. Seriously. Two sides of the same coin.

[QUOTE=Slartibartfast;529270]Saved How?
I seem to be doing all right. What impending disaster did he rescue me from?
Inquiring minds want to know.

[QUOTE=Slartibartfast;529287]Was that an answer or a random bumper sticker? Because it didnt really seem to have anything to do with my question.
Btw, you will find that I posted a hilarious song about filibusters and jelly earlier.
I'd like to vouch for the hilarity of the song in question
still laughing at that

Thanked: 151Obama is delivering on his promise, "Hope and Change!" Yeah baby Yeah! This guy isn't a hardline conservative though and like ChrisL said, its just another side of the same coin. Lets hope he actually delivers something better, but don't count on it.
