Thanked: 603Married three times, divorced three times... 3, 11, and 4 years, respectively. I'm a serial monogamist.
No, thanks... I don't want to meet your [sister | sister-in-law | ex-wife]You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Thanked: 158I am 28, never been married, but I just got engaged in December. When we first started dating neither of us wanted to get married, ever. It wasn't that we didn't want to be together, however. We just thought that marriage wasn't for us. I guess times change.

Thanked: 172My total is 3. I figure if this 3rd one doesn't work maybe i should start thinking it might be ME. No first was to young and stupid, 2 hormones, 3 the right reason. I found out if you go into marriage with the thought that if it goes bad you can always get out it won't last because you will not try and just bail out. Once I learned it's a life time COMMITMENT all is fine.
By the way 26 years October.Last edited by paco; 07-09-2010 at 03:32 AM.

Thanked: 26733 year to my first. We just get along. It is one of the most rewarding things that I have ever done in my life. When you are lucky enough to be married this long it is like you have built something, very strange, but rewarding.
Take care and good luck,
Richard

Thanked: 603Ingredients for a Perfect Marriage
Dorothy Zbornak: "Ma, you wanted me to be a nun."
Sophia Petrillo: "Why not? It's steady pay, they provide the uniform, and you're married to God... at least he's home every night."

Thanked: 37Oh yeah, I had a starter marriage. She had what I call a good baseball card. The picture looked good the stats were just right. We just shouldn't have gotten married.
I got a new wife now. this time I looked past the photo and the stats. I think I will keep this one around for a long time.

I didn't get married before the age of 39. Been married now for 7 years, so yes still my first spouse.

43 years to my one and only. Actually she keeps me around because she does not want to have to train a replacement.
