Thread: Marriage Questions ???

Mmm... Alcoholism is a terrible disease, it`s litterally eats away your soul. Every bit as bad and dangerous as heroin in my opinion. It really bugs me to see it advertised the way it is. It`s all about taxes being more important than people. That`s one for another thread anyway.....

In fact, I told my wife if she even thought about complaining about my last joke, I'd boycott doing the cooking, housework and grocery shopping for a whole week!

My Angel and I have been together for 28 1/2 yrs and don't see an end to it...unless I buy another razor...then I'll miss her...

I am on wife number 3(or is it 4?). Divorced my first after 7 years, second wife passed away. Was single for 8 years after that. I married my current bride 18 years ago and am still happily married to her.

....uh....oh, yeah, she's my 3 AND 4th wife! (We had our marriage vows renewed, a really neat experience!)

My wife and I have been married for 9 years now, together for 17 years now total. We are high school sweethearts.

I have been married to Mrs. Brother Jeeter for thirty two years, this past January.

EDIT: This is the first marriage for both of us.

Still with what we like to call "Number Only" after 23 years of marriage.

We dated for about 6 years, on and off, with her dating other guys, some I knew, some I didn't, but we always got back together. No sex until we were married (she didn't with the other guys either) and we didn't live together. We were engaged for 14 months (to this day she says that was the only mistake - too long to think about "details" of the wedding).

We've had all the classic fights and asked each other more than once if a divorce was necessary. The answer always was "We're not finished fighting, yet!" We think that most folks arn't willing to put in the real work it takes to stay together and think they're the only married couple that fights and argues.

We also didn't have children until we'd been married for 11 years.

But that's just us.

Married to my first... 6 years about a month back.

She knew I was nuts when she married me, so no big surprises upcoming that I can see.

She is also aware that I am a lazy man by nature, so no girlfriend on the side for me... one woman is enough trouble for me.

Divorced from my first wife after 7 years (1999), have 2 daughters (18 and 14 y.o.) Was single for 4 years after that. I married my current bride 2003, have 1 daughter (6 y.o.) and am still happily married to her. We enjoy in every moment. :-)
