15 years next month.
Marriage is a bit like fancying a cream cake and then being force fed it for the rest of your life.

27 years this December! We met at a dance at my church when we were in junior high.

Happily married to my one and only bride...8 and a half years!
And I'm top dog in my house...but I've been neutered! (Bob and Tom reference if there are any fans in the house).Last edited by Ru4scuba; 07-13-2010 at 11:27 PM.

Any big age differences with anyone else? I`m more than a little younger than my wife...

Met my ex-wife when she was 12 and I was 16, just friends around the local area. We got together when she was 18 and lived together for 6 very good years. Got married and a year later started a family, that lasted 16 years. Booze got the better of the relationship and I divorced the alcoholic 8 years ago. It took awhile before she came to her senses, but we are pretty good friends now. I still live in the same house, but with my girl friend. I have no plans on a 2nd marriage. It's a shame that booze got in the way, we both know it. When my 2 sons moved out my house was very empty for a couple years especially around the holidays. But now I get invited for the holiday dinners with my ex and our boys. It's good.
