I agree the fresh stuff is so much better. I haven't had experience with a fresh cow, mostly lamb and goats for me. Also some wild game like venison and rabbit and elk and moose.


This is totally random but be thankful that you didn't have to slaughter it yourself. It still creeps me out to think back when I first visited my grandfathers farm and he handed me a knife so I could get dinner:s
