I haven't had a landline since I moved out of my parents' house about 10 years ago. And, since I've had my Droid, I've been without internet at my house also.

I still have a landline. It's worth it because I get about 1 call a month.

Call me extremely old fashioned in some things, but I still have a land line with a corded phone in addition to my cell phone for these reasons (some of which may not really be true, but I believe them anyway):
1. My corded land line phone doesn't need recharging.
2. When I drop a call, I can just pick up the reciever and keep talking.
3. When I call 911, I don't have to bother to tell them where to come and collect the bodies.
4. I can always start at the cord plugged into the wall, and find the phone from there when I need to make a call.
4a. I occasionally need something to trip over.
5. It's a gentle reminder to me to discuss the gross complications of "Uncle Floyd's" hemorrhoid operation within the confines of my four walls so no else has to suffer the details.
6. When I have to enter account numbers over the phone, only the guys tapping my line at the phone company can overhear me.
7. Should I drop my phone in the toilet, I can just pull it back out by the cord, rather than risk clogging pipes by flushing.
8. They don't make rotary dial cell phones. Sometimes, I want it to take more than five seconds to dial a wrong number.

I still have a landline. If I didn't my wife would be throwing my black berry at me when that new razor I bought from flea bay came in. And a good cell phone is expensive to replace.

I have to have a land line. I live in the Adirondack Mountains and cell phone service is VERY spotty. Naturally, there is none where my house is. If I drive a mile down the road, I can get it.

No land line for me. I have a cell phone, and I use skype to skype calling as well.

I've had two cell phones at different times and hated them both. Got rid of them both. We're talking serious hatred here. Kept the land line.

We have two cell phones and no landline. I voted under "other" though, because we simulate a landline via a Google Voice number that rings our cells and my office number depending on time of day and day of week. It also screens out anyone not family so our phones don't ring at odd hours.
