She is dead, there is no time left for her to change but maybe the fact that she has died so young will be sufficient to turn at least one of her fans away from the perception that drink and drugs are somehow glamorous.
I feel no real sympathy or empathy for her, she had more opportunity than most to clean herself up but didn't. I do, however, feel deep sympathy for her family and friends who will forever wonder if there was something else they could have done.Regards

First i have to confess that i had no any idea about Amy Winehouse and i believe i've never heard her songs. Not at least that i know. So i had to read a little about her before writing anything.
I feel sorry for this poor girls family who must feel terrible about their loss. I do not feel sorry for her because her destiny was in her own hands.
As she became famous, maybe she got too much too soon and couldn't control her life any more ?. Wouldn't be the first of that kind. Also i feel sorry that so many youngsters see such addicts as a role model no matter how good they sing.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'
