Another forum, same topic a couple of years ago. Guy in Iraq in the US Army mess hall. Another soldier got angry and stormed out of the mess hall shouting at all of the foreign language speakers that they all ought to speak English, like Jesus Christ did.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I grew up in Miami, FL. I remember when Fidel overthrew Batista and the refugees began coming. I lived a few blocks from Calle Ocho for some years. Left FL for a couple of decades and returned to tattoo on South Beach in the early '90s when there were many Europeans and South Americans there. I always admired the many of them who could speak several languages fluently. From what I understand it won't be too many more generations before there are more Latinos in the USA than Anglos.

Actually there are people, known on forums where these issues are discussed, as KJVO .... King James version only. They do believe that it is the only inspired version. I enjoy reading the predecessor of the KJV, the Geneva Bible and I love the KJV because it is the one I've read most of my life. Nowadays, though I still read it, I also check with the NASB and the ESV for good measure.
