Another great smell of fall/atumn, is that first stew. You come home, walk into the house, and someone has a nice beef stew on the stove, teeming with bay leaf and hearty herbs. That's a good smell!
That's what I love about this season, as well, it's tea and soup season. It's time to break out the sweaters, brew up some nice teas that have been patiently waiting in the cupboard (especially after that ridiculously hot summer), and look for new soup recipes.
