A buddy of mine used to say,"If it's illegal, immoral, or fattening, I've got a problem with it."

May he rest in peace .......

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Since leaving my last job I enjoy a glass of scotch at night before bed on the weekends. My last job entailed being on call so I was not able to drink ETOH unless I left the state. From what I've read, a little Scotch,Wine,Beer, cannot hurt as long as you don't go over board. In fact, I've read it may be good for you.

For your visual enjoyment, my latest indulgences.

    Imo, no, it isn't.
There are times when I drink 1 to 2 glasses daily. The one thing I do for myself is from time to time I decide to not drink alcohol at all for a couple of weeks, just to prove to myself that I don't need it.
Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

It how you feel about it. Only you know. Just asking shows something. It may be a good idea to not drink anything for 30-40 days and see how you feel and how people react to you.
Try Lent, it was a traditional time to do it. Ash Wednesday to Easter.

You 'll see if it's got you or you've got it.

I was talking with a guy once who told me that drinking Single Barrel Bourbon was good for me. I can't remember his last name, but his first name was 'Colonel'.
