It already is. You do what your financial backers want, you get to keep your job and become a lobbyist later.

I'm sure you are able to speak French. It's just a matter of making the correct sounds with your vocal cords.
Whether you know the French language or not, is a different matter of course.

I dismiss that story because the claims were made by someone who was promoting their book at the time. Oh, and because of that whole bit about there not being any proof and all.

So I take it you brought gold to pay for that bridge, cash would've been fine but I digress...

You know what I think about that Christian approved iraqi general? There is absolutely no way that story/book of his can be spun as anything positive for the Bush administration, and that's why it wasn't. If Saddam Hussain really sent all his WMDs to Syria with 56 commercial flights 5 months before that famous UN resolution and 9 months before Bush gave the orders for invasion, that says a lot of interesting things about Bush's competence. And you can't really blame it on faulty intelligence because your article says that the israeli story even went into the media.

I don't know if Bush lied or not, what I know is that he was very incompetent president, priding himself on making important decisions with his 'gut' instead of his brain. In my view this type of pseudochristianity is one of the biggest problems of this country.

If there was proof, we'd have seen it already. At the very least, they would have shown it to representatives of the countries they asked to join in an invasion, instead of asking those countries to take their word for it. And last but not least, Iraq has been turned inside out, and so many years later, there is still nothing.

Besides, the major source for the WMD allegations already admitted he lied about it.

I don't know if Bush lied knowingly, but he sure didn't try very hard to get to the bottom of things before starting the war that would allow him to finish what his daddy started.

To be fair, almost everyone in the government believed the intelligence reports and supported the war until it became inconvenient for them politically.

Thanks for that, first time I could smile when reading through this thread

But since you ask, very much a minus. Whoever says it.

It's possible, but I'm not sure about that. There were some smart guys in the government - if not dubbya.

And probably didn't bother to read any links because you've already made up your mind.
