If you had bothered to read the story it was TWO flights, two months before the invasion. If you will remember we took 3 months for the buildup.

Reading's never bothered me, I like it and do a lot of it all the time. However I din't think I'll have to do a quote from a source that you're supposed to have read carefully:

And seriously, you're saying with a straight face that one should not waste a three month build up to a war? I must say this is some really warped worldview.

I remember well "shock and awe", "the axis of evil", the promises for a quickie and cheap war, the big antiwar demonstrations worldwide, and all that... In the end it's all about part testing of an ideology and part the usual transferring of public finances into private bank accounts. The destruction of human lives and societies was just a collateral damage.

And again you're wrong, which isn't really strengthening any arguments you're trying to make.

I read the links and I've made up my mind. The entire coalition was looking for WMDs and could not find any signs of them and there are lengthy documents discussing this. I'm not going to let one or two unfounded statements change that without providing any evidence whatsoever outside of "because I said so".

I stand corrected, it was 2 pilots, not 2 flights.

I never said the 3 months was wasted, I am saying they had 3 months to move everything and hide it. This is more than enough time to hide anything. I saw pictures of jet fighters that had been buried in the sand. What they couldn't fly out that could just have buried.

Our pilots (and crews I believe) were flying US bombers for the Canadians. My Grandpa was a pilot and flew a bomber for them until the US entered the war. We were suppling munitions and materials to GB. There was more, but to suggest that we were uninvolved is incorrect. We were much more than just cheerleaders. Just as the Swiss make a claim as to neutrality, and in theory they were, but the fact is they were involved. They held stolen Jewish gold for the Nazis and provided safe haven for some Jews.

Who sold Iran the nuclear fuel in the 1st place? Follow the money... Countries and industries do strange things for the sword and the purse.

It looks like China and Zimbabwe sold them fuel. Russia sold them the enrichment gear.

I know Russia REALLY needs money. I'm still surprised that they are that foolish.

The UK paid the final installment of it's war debt to the USA in sometime in 2006. We paid back twice what we borrowed. That's not to say we weren't just about finished militarily when the US finally came to our rescue, because we were.
