Then you ought to see the end of summer spending frenzy. It will make you sick. Saddest part is that such behavior is mandated by the damn legislature! We are required to spend EVERYTHING that was appropriated by August 31 as our new fiscal year starts Sept 1.
Raises for workers are not part of the money that has to be spent/screwed off.
Good ol' boys reign supreme in Austin.
Saw 87 octane selling for 3.18 9/10ths over at the QT at SH183 and Central yesterday.

9$ a gallon is nuts, I paid the equivalent of 4.75 a us gal for diesel fuel last fill up.
