Yeah, they take the Luger's Card and Cash. :P And maybe check, I'm not sure. And that's a big bill when you're talking something in the realm of $80 per person and up.
But they are outstanding. The only place I've found that I like (but not *quite* as much as Luger's) is Bobby Van's in DC. Of course, most places don't serve Porterhouse, so it's not a completely fair comparison.

The least I've ever gotten out for was about $60 for lunch with maybe one drink and a side or two. The most was $160 each for a dinner where many, many bottles of wine were consumed (I don't know how the hell I made it out to a cab that night). The steak itself is about $50/person, but we always wind up spending more by ordering 'extra' steak. They only sell "steak for 2" "steak for 3" and "steak for 4"
Usually, though, I'd say they're about the same price range as Ruth's Chris.

Josh, just go already, at least once. Actually, the steak is crisp on the outside, regardless of how done you want it, because of the way they cook it. It's really, really yummy.
But you were asking about buying good steaks - find any yet? How about Niman Ranch (www.nimanranch.com)? Not only is the meat excellent, it's organic as well.
