Default Need good steaks for xmas, any suggestions??

I want to get my father in law some good quality steaks from the midwest for christmas this year. I know omaha steaks makes ok steaks and ships them worldwide, but they are a bit expensive for the quality and taste. Does anyone have an other ideas for good steaks that can be shipped???

    Kansas City Steaks!

I've gotten their steaks and burgers. I used to have it automatically delivered via QVC but you can order right from their website

I don't know how they compare to Omaha for price or taste but I really enjoyed them.

Both of these places sell great steaks, although not from the Midwest. Unfortunately, you could go to a top steakhouse and spend about the same $$$ for a comparable cut, and get it expertly prepared.

I've received some Omaha's as a gift once... thought they were way over rated, both in price and quality. I've heard good things about Allen Brothers, but unfortunately I don't have any first hand experience with them.

Although I can seldom afford it, a nice dry aged prime grade ribeye is about as close to heaven as I think I'll ever get .

Angus beef is very popular in Europe. Ask the American Angus Association.
