I'm sure people on SRP are wondering, "With all the craziness going on in Boston, I wonder if Don has any more pictures from his trip yesterday"? Well, yes I do. Today's installment will be, agriculture, stuff grown in Central Cali that makes it around the World. Exciting stuff, I know, but try to contain yourselves.

Miles and miles of berries, all kinds, just outside Watsonville.

I think there should be a reality show, "A Day With Don."

Ha! I'm sure I'd be cancelled after the first show, if it were a "normal" day of mine. This was just a chance to see some country I don't see too often. Since I don't see any complaints, I could post another installment, boats and cars??

Default Another day at the 45th pa rallel

I posted a while ago pictures of the 45th parallel marker near my house. The weather was bad the other day and I took the "long" way home to avoid traffic. The first is while passing the marker that you can't see on my right and the second is about a block south.

Hey, at least he's in the correct lane! With it getting dark, well, or before sunup, that horse should have reflectors.

No Spring for you huh? On your last pictures, the ones of the 45 parallel rock, you pointed out that Winter was clinging on too long, I guess it's still not done. Hang in there, it's bound to get warmer, maybe that global warming is just running a bit slow in your parts.

Everyone around here is getting cabin fever waiting for the warm weather. I seems like the Winters are not getting longer but shifting. The Falls have been warmer later and the Springs cold longer. Can't even fish. The ice is not safe and you can't get your boat out!
