Wullie, please tell me it ain't so! You guys didn't let some Californian's slip into your government, did you?

I hope this link works out, if not, lemme know, sad thing.
Probably because we've "found" a few billion extra to blow. That's San Antonio anyway. It's been invaded by refugee Austin eco-terroristas that ran out of shit to whine about in Austin and headed South to ply their whine.

Yes donv, there is a bumper crop of those things this year. That bunch in the pic is about the size of the one that a hammer headed horse and I fell into one afternoon when I was a kid back in the 60's. Looked like both of us had been in a fight with about a hundred porcupines. It was NOT an enjoyable ride back to the house.

One thing good about that trip was that the horse wouldn't go near a bunch of that stuff after that adventure.

Y'all kin say whut y'all want 'about the South, but y'all never heard o' nobody retirin' an' movin' North.

Back to road pictures! I took these on a parts run up the Feather River Canyon to a town called Quincy. I knew it was gonna be a pretty drive, so I took a camera. The first big rock is called Grizzley Dome, don't worry, it's safe, they put signs up not to climb the rock. Then, something I love, rather than just blowing up the smaller rocks, they just pushed them to the side. If you ever get a chance, go this route in the Spring, lots of waterfalls, and the river is awesome.

It's about the control. I'm sure that guy from Rage Against The Machine would say that, anyway...

That little boulder ain't big enough to abseil down Carl. What choo smokin' dude?!?!

Or are you referring to the big rock, with the hole in it, to let the cars and trucks through? It looks to be an easy abseil to me, but I could be wrong. Photo's don't always do justice.

That wasn't a link, it was citation of a title, which should be underlined according to The Chicago Manual of Style (Turabian, K.).

I clicked it, it is a link, I am well aware of the grammar and punctuation involved. Have fun!
