Hey, at 24/25 seconds in, what does some guy say? 'Cause, if he says what I think he said, he said exactly what I was thinking! Who would drive in that, at that rate of speed! I do hope that cop wrote him up. Or better yet, took him out back of the woodshed for a sound Wombat beating!

Trip down to the doc today in Sacramento CA, our state capitol. I was going to go to the capitol to take a picture of a bunya bunya tree they have there, just for my mates down under, but got sidetracked. Made it to Old Sacramento, on the river, and had late lunch at Joe's Crab Shack. Couple pictures of the Tower Bridge and some buildings across the river. They needed to paint the bridge a few years ago and decided to let the people who live around it, see it, and use it decide the colour by vote. Gold was the choice. Kinda nice they let people decide, nice colour too, hard to take pictures with the sun behind it though.

Don, that first photo is very nicely framed. Great light on the face. Inspires me to get into film photography again with my '50s Rolleicord...

I own one digital camera and about a half dozen film camera's myself. Unfortunately my best camera (a film camera) is sorely in need of a tune up and some minor repair. I use the DSLR now instead of my SLR's. I love film, but Digital does make it so much easier for less cost.

    Not strictly on the road.

These were all taken up Ben Cleuch in tillicultry. It was an amazing walk in the Ochill hills which the wife and I plan on doing more of. We never did the circular as the weather turned and we werent really prepared so thought it better to go back over trodden ground.

My Rolleicord is Medium Format and takes great photos. While it does have 'moving parts' that's only to focus. The Zeiss Ikon Box camera has almost no moving parts, is Medium Format too and also takes great photos!

My medium formats are non working handed down antiques. I'm jealous of yours. I should have bought myself the Mamiya 7 all those years ago when I had the money.
