Why yes!!! I was driving a diesel rig!!! It was a 1985 Toyota Turbo 2LT Diesel 4 wheel drive pickup!

I suppose if we had no web, we would have others near by to talk with the old way

Still, I really enjoy the thoughts and laughs from you guys.

Then we would have to actually pass down traditions again like how to use a straight razor and how to talk and how to build a cabin and boring stuff like that.

This doesn't really count as something seen while driving, but the most memorable thing driving related was when I almost got run over by a yellow cab in Chicago. All I saw was this blur go by me as I was getting ready to cross the street(I had the right of way). But as I watched it go down the street I noticed the cab was covered completely in Christmas light complete with a star on top.It was Christmas at the time. Would been a heck of a way to leave the planet....Ye see saint Peter,it'happened like this I was mowed down by a Chritmas tree on wheels !............

Naw, I don't think the web is the culprit and would be a great pity to loose such a great way to communicate with people world wide that we would otherwise never have been able too. I just think we have to slow down a bit. The pace of modern living is like running as hard as you can and still getting nowhere.

There is an appropriate use for the tech available to us and it is not texting someone while you are walking side by side. I don't wonder why the art of conversation is dying out. To get back on topic, there are just certain tasks you should not be distracted from if it can be helped at all.
