Default The things you see while driving.

Today while driving to work enjoying the new aftershave my wife got for me yesterday, I looked out my window and saw a guy shaving with an electric as he drove.

I thought, "how sad" it's a mundane task that he takes no more pride in than eating a fast food burger that tastes bad but fills the void...

    What do you guys see?

I've seen some things that probably shouldn't be mentioned in the forum, but yesterday on the way back from a wedding in Columbus, I saw something that really irked me. There was a guy driving down the interstate doing around 80mph talking in his Bluetooth and reading a paper while steering with his knees. Part of me wanted to give him a little tap on the rear quarter panel.

I have seen things like those mentioned while driving and all I see is the need for a ticket for distracted driving Ontario Provincial Police | News and Media. Some people just never grow a brain.

A classic for me is seeing a younger woman in an expensive SUV with "Baby on Board" sign displayed prominently in the rear window making a left turn through a busy intersection at rush hour. All the while with her cell phone to her ear talking and her precious baby securely strapped into a baby seat in the rear seat. There has got to be some kind of disconnect there.

So true, but in the end they usually take someone else with them. I really don't care if they only killed themselves when they eventually screw up but I would hate to go with them. Multi tasking gets far too much emphasis and praise these days.

There is Bob...we need to go back to a simpler time when you had to pay attention to life . Hmmm like a time when straight razors were predominant maybe ?

I suppose if we had no web, we would have others near by to talk with the old way

Still, I really enjoy the thoughts and laughs from you guys.

Then we would have to actually pass down traditions again like how to use a straight razor and how to talk and how to build a cabin and boring stuff like that.
