Thanked: 1371The language may vary depending on region here...
Where I live that would be referred to as a "shed", but people would understand you if you called it a barn.
"Barn" is generally used for a structure that houses livestock (the shape is irrelevant).
You can have a pig barn, a chicken barn, a turkey barn, etc... (they all look different from one another)
"Barn" by itself would refer to a cow barn.
Rhubarb is correct, though I would call it "the stuff behind my garage that I cut down and throw in the woods".
Someone else will have to help with that...
The strait is beautiful.
How's it for fishing?
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Thanks for correcting.
There used to be some whitefish, perch and zander (hope these translations are correct). During last five years or so the seal population has grown so much that there's not so much fish left today. And those who know the good places to fish wont surely tell.
Used to fish a lot with my son when he was younger. As he grew up he became more interested in motorcycles, soccer, teen beauties and whatever so i haven't much done fishing any more. Or maybe it's just being lazy.

Thanked: 1160Gee Sailor.......ya make it sound so trivial. Wish I had a miserable life like yours....I couldn't possibly stand makin pies n cobblers out of all those berries , or sweet pickles from the Rhubarb and those potatoes and veggies ewww ! who'de want that with a sunday roast. Then there is that whole lake picture...I mean, why would anyone want to while a way the hours fishing for tasty white fish ? Terrible ...just terrible.....Trade ya the back alley of my neck O the woods anyday
Here is my lovely paradise looking from the backdoor,to the right, left and back at the door itself....Rocky mountain high it ain't ! Unless yer a crackhead I suppose........Yep.....they don't show ya that in the travel brochures for beautiful Denver. It's better at night when the crackheads and bums come out to forage. And when the cool air comes in you can smell Longmont(cow manure) mixed in with bum urine........Life is greatLast edited by Nightblade; 09-17-2012 at 01:45 AM.

Nothing unusual here just kookas & a Hills Hoist.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
