I just came across this article on the web. Apparently, a petition proposing the secession of the great state of Texas from the Union has reached the White House. Your thoughts, gentlemen?

I may be mistaken,but isn't it written into Texas' article of statehood that if at any time they wish to leave the Union, they can.

What makes you think that Texas can be a self-sufficient nation, shooter?
I'm by no means trying to incite an argument, but I have trouble believing it could sustain itself. I am curious as to what you have taken into consideration when making that statement.

I'm curious: I wonder how many of those in support of the secession of Texas also voted for Romney. Just an honest question with no barb on the hook.
