The problem with that is if you remove the Dingbat in Chief, who steps in to replace him? Does anyone know anything about possible successors to him?

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

If Kim Jong Un suddenly dies, the military just finds 'Kim's secret heir' and still run the military.
That's the beauty of his entire life being a charade. Whenever something bad happens, they can just change the script and add another plot line.

We don't even know for sure who his wife is or where she came from.
One thing is for sure. It won't be any of his 2 older brothers. The current Kim was not going to be heir at all. He had 2 older brothers, one of which was the confirmed heir. But IIRC the heir turned out to be gay, which was extremely 'not done' and of course also created future succession problems. And the other brother didn't like his father and cause several diplomatic incidents and is now persona non grata.

If they need a new successor, the regime will produce his 'secret heir'

I WAS going to tell you all a story today, In fact it was growing in my mind as I drove to work, seriously. I was planning it. I was going to tell you about this guy down the street who I noticed has been working out a lot lately. He's also been going to martial arts classes and he bought almost the EXACT same 9mm pistol I have (but a smaller version) and has been TARGET PRACTISING!!. Me and my mates are gonna go 'round there and bash him, cause we're a bit nervous...

But then my 15 year old son said "Dad, did you hear about the North Korea thing" I said "Yeah, with the threats and stuff?" He said "Yeah, they did it again today". So I Googled it, which is what every serious researcher does...

Now I'm sort of re-thinking my story and suggesting giving that guy down the street a good flogging might not be a BAD thing. I mean, they (NK) SAY they have the means, and they SAY they're going to fight, so why WOULDN'T you NOT wait for them to throw the first punch?

I was thinking, as I drove to work today on an astonishingly beautiful morning that you've got to break everything down to the smallest representation. That is, a country is a person, or a gang. A gang is probably a better analogy, but sometimes a person suits. You have to think things like "So, that guy's got no food, should I feed him?' etc. It's just a matter of scale.

Of course, having said that, I then see differences between the way I think I should treat people and how that guy over there thinks he should.

So this comes down to two guys in a bar. You see that guy at the bar is giving you evil looks. He looks a bit crazy, a bit down and out; dressed in funny clothes. Clearly under the influence or maybe some mental illness? He's leering at you. You know he wants to go outside. Who throws the first punch? Is it RIGHT to throw the first punch? Have YOU ever thrown the first punch? What if he's also threatening your wife and kids?

Your 15 year old kid wants to know if it's right to throw the first punch.

What do you tell your kid?

For me, remove the wife and kids and I'm a pacifist. Include the wife and kids and my first thoughts are I confront him. That is, I go to his place and say 'bring it on'. However, I know I won't go home to my wife and kids. He may not be there but either will I. Bit of a dilemma all this, really.

Americans typically don't trust anything their government says.
So why would you suddenly start believing the NK government?

The whole point of propaganda is to confuse the enemy and making him emotional, and to reassure the home team.
We all know that NK cannot even begin to hope to inflict any real damage to the US. So the threat is empty. Therefore we can recognize it is just propaganda.

I agree with you, you should not wait for the first hit to actually hit you.
But it's a bit like you're Mike Tyson. And this scrawny 75 pound kid (the funny one with the weird look in his eyes) is screaming at you that he will rip your head from your torso. Everyone looking at you knows that he has exactly zero chance of doing that. And you know it too. So you can't give him a preemptive uppercut that will decapitate him and say you were genuinely threatened.

When I look at the current situation, I'd think the following is more appropriate than your clip.
Make no mistake, I like it a lot. But when I hear some of the comments regarding NK (or Iran for that matter), I see a lot of people who are all too quick to start the slaughter because 'We're in the right'

Oh, I didn't mean to say that. I'm posing the question. When should one? Should one? Do you, have you? (has one?). Maybe the average guy DOES go around carrying out pre-emptive strikes. I'm probably a wimp.

Oh. I see. You're arguing that point. In God we Trust resolves one from a LOT. There are different versions. No one is in the right. That should be the premise. When I saw that photo the other day of night time n and S Korea, I was going to say "actually, it looks quite peaceful..."

No-one is right. Who is any country to say "this is how it's done"? Have they solved the mystery? People are too quick to think they're right, people need to doubt themselves more...
