Nice work, Dennis! Workshop would be a better place for this!

HA! No worries, Dennis. Trying to promote our other subforums. I like to see finished stuff here. Things which have work to go belong in the workshop! Silly me! After done, in restos!

One of my first sets of scale were made out of some very high contrast fire kill cedar. I had some issues with being able to get the pins tight because they sank into the wood quite easily. I thought to myself the next time I use soft wood I an going to use a wide washer perhaps a triple stack would touch them off nicely. I love dramatic grain. You have an spectacular start.

There is a guy in Germany who sells on ebay some collars which are like little rivet bodies. I found they work well with wood as they go thru the entire scale. I will find him and PM you a link.
