I love the spinework and scales.
I really love the contrast between the brass washers and pins and the copper wedge.

some progress pics for interest
pre set the blade to minimize the smile while forging out
the constant waiting for temp to forge - you can see the blade has gained its smile already hammering out the bevel
2nd down - rough ground
post Heat treat
scale works designing & done
the seemingly endless sanding & polishing results
