Viking Battle Axe Custom
Truth of the matter is that I have no idea what a Viking battle axe looks like. But that's what I had envisioned when I made this. It is 8/8's 1/4 hollow with triple spikes and an acid finish which gives it a rustic look. It has no filework or jimps. The scales are European red deer antler with an epoxy finish. Wedge is black horn. The Script is laser engraved in ancient Runic.
This is the blade that I said I would never shave with, because I'm scared of shaving with a spike point. My face is just way too pretty to risk that!
As always, thanks for looking

ps: Thanks to Spazola for the lesson on acid finishing

Thanked: 1072You've been coming out with some great stuff lately mate.
This one's both beautiful and scary.

P.S. The acid finish looks sweet too."I aint like that no more...my wife, she cured me of drinking and wickedness"

It is a beauty, I like the way it looks. Do you have touch it your face or does it just scare the whiskers off?

Very cool razor. The scales are very cool.

Lots of spike points on that! Careful! Nice job! If I may ask, what does the Runic inscription mean? I should think CAUTION? Cool Razor
