2nd lot of samples collected yesterday, got Aesop shave serum (mix with a little water and use brush to bring to a lather) and a post shave balm. Just small sachets, one of each x 12. Still waiting on the stuff from perfect potion.
Does anyone want me to bring decaf coffee or is everyone happy with caffeine? For tea Im just bringing twining tea bags, as I think teapot will be more of an annoyance with 12 people.

re safety razor blades, I reckon if you had them in your razor as opposed to in a separate pack, I think you'd get through the screening points (the metal from the razor head would shield the outline of the blade itself, and could just put 3-4 in the razor head itself)... worth a try I reckon, if they catch it, will just remove the blades and let them dispose of them and find new blades on arrival.

Finally, Ive had a couple of these mugs lying around and have found it is great for soaking/warming my brush. I only need one, so have 2 spare, if anyone wants one let me know and I will bring along for you.

p.s. For anyone interested, the brush was the silver tip from Whipped dog, quite cheap ($30ish from memory). I don't have others to compare it to, but I like it so far.

Just bought a couple of razors on eBay, would appreciate the thoughts of the SEQ members... http://straightrazorpalace.com/show-...ostenholm.html

Should I bring them to the meetup?

Nice blades Andrew; yes, bring 'em along by all means.

You know, I'm really impressed by the prospects for our little get together, a real buzz seems to be building. Less than a fortnight to go!

    Hi,
Have I missed something, perhaps in a different thread or PM? I thought it was locked in for the 2nd March? A fortnight puts it on or before the 24th Feb? I dont want to miss this so please advise so I can be sure to keep the afternoon free. Cheers, Andrew

Sorry mate, as you said the 2nd is the date; I should have said a fortnight from the coming Sunday. Getting ahead of myself

Doh! When you email one person, only one person sees your stuff-up; on the internet everyone knows you're an idiot.

Up to you, but I don't think the customs guys would have much of a sense of humour, they seem a fairly serious lot. If you seem suspicious you might get the rubber glove treatment.
Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast
