Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

We had a nice little meet-up at Andrew's place in Brisbane this afternoon. No photos unfortunately. It was mostly show, tell and yarn. I took away a nice little piece of olive wood for scales courtesy of AdamG and a Heljestrand frameback to hone up for Andrew - this blade is part of a 7 day set he has and I feel a bit privileged to be undertaking the task. I'll get it back soon, no worries!

The attendees were Adam G, Geoff (Havachat45) AndrewJM and myself, Mike W (Maladroit)

Was good to see everyone again... shame a couple of people couldn't come.

Will be interesting to hear your thoughts on the Heljestrand once you've honed it and shaved with it a few times.

Geoff kindly lent me a wedge razor to try, and also showed me the basics of using my coticule

It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice

Well done you blokes. I had to spend time with the wife and kids today as my wife had commitments at a local festival. I was Daddy day-care for my own little brats. Hopefully I'll make the next one.

Many thanks to Andrew for his hospitality and Adam and Mike for their conviviality yesterday.
    Another great afternoon of bonding.
