I've had a number of straight razor packages opened by Customs without a problem. They just leave a pamphlet inside to say they opened it.

Thanked: 203Yep - seem to have no problems with razors. Have had them from USA and UK. Some Customs open, some they don't. It's knives and swords that i don't bother trying to import because the classifications of which ones are legal in different states and which ones are not, is too open to individual interpretation and confiscation by individual officers. For example, swords are a prohibited weapon in Victoria. In Queensland, one hand opening knives are prohibited. {seem to be able to buy them in shops no worries despite legislation, but i won't push it with mailing} But as i said, no problems with razors.
Hope that helps.Respectfully,
Adam.

Thanked: 983Our border security will even let in switchblades if you know the right way to go about it. Razors really should be a non issue.

You guys down under -
Import at will, but I'd gladly wash the car, make the coffee, sharpen the pencils to be first in line for the blades Jmerson lets go of. He has some of the finest blades of anyone on the board. Don't overlook your local sources!
