It got sold. My dad had spent a fortune storing it for 40 years.
A 29 model A station wagon. Wood was about too rotten to disassemble it for patterns.
One of those things which would have cost more than it's restored value to restore.
Besides, I already had one Model A.

Thanked: 70Alfa GTV is a great choice. I drive a 73 Spider Veloce for about 8 month of the year. I have a 69 GTV, a 65 1600 Spider Veloce and a 67 Giul1a Super waiting for me to find
time to restore. I run a one man restoration shop but customer cars demand my time.

Thanked: 70Sharptonn & MikeB52: I drove the 73 Spider from Indiana to Charlie's Texas meet in Feb. 2017 ( I had to cancel this year)
. That's a 2000 mile round trip. I averaged 70mph for those 2000 miles. It was such good weather that the top was down
driving through Arkansas on the return drive. I have fun with that car.

All look tops, Mike.
So is this the TD you were looking at last year?
Glad to see you went for it! You and the wife need the little hats to go with!

Thanked: 4206The very one Tom. That pic is not of my actual car but same year and paint scheme I found on the web. Real pics to follow once I get her home..
Very hard to nail down the reclusive previous owner. Been trying to sign this deal for well over a year before we finally met yesterday to sign the ownership over..
I am only the third owner of her in 67 years! Engine was upgraded in 67 to a tr4 1.8l with matching rear end so she cruises today’s hiway speeds with ease. When you climb in, it’s like slipping into a ww2 fighter plane, the long nose and hand rolled fenders and all.
Never owned a British car so will be learning lots this spring under the hood, err bonnet..
And yes, we will need proper headwear, maybe even some driving gloves.
