They were about to see a huge collection of the finest cars the world has ever seen but they still appreciated a good Gremlin.

It's true! I have a friend who was enamored enough to fly to Cali and drive back a 71 Datsun 210 4 door with mag wheels and a 240 SX motor. I could not believe it.

This guy still has his GT6 from high school. Bomb! (really!)

He takes the Datsun to cars and coffee and everyone looks at it.
Oh..The steering wheel is a quick-disconnect. He stows it in the trunk.

They just LOVE that! Folks just love a train wreck!

Original 1951 maintenance manual and applicable triumph manuals for the upgraded engine components.
The guy who looked after it the last 30 years was a pharmacist by trade. Meticulous notes inside the covers of the Haines books on all the mods to the engine, pistons, differential. Stroke, hp, everything I could hope for in a log book.
And before I lost the light, I snapped a pic of the actual car.

All the chrome hubs are safely locked away for the winter still. As is a toolbox filled with strange British Tools I’ve never used before..
Can’t wait to get her home.
    May start a restoration thread,,,,
    Cheers..
