Thanked: 4206Two days in and not a drip on the drive!
Now I am comfortable parking it on others lots.
Not the old days anymore and being the only car leaving beauty marks ain’t cool. Specially on concrete driveways.
On another note, busted another tooth cause of the dang denture so another visit to the drill Dr for more fun in a recliner. Damn I hate the failure rate this thing is causing, and that implants aren’t covered by insurance cause they would be the right answer, and always would have been.

Thanked: 4206No, it’s not quite like that up here..
Our universal healthcare covers life ending stuff but not luxuries. If there is a cheaper option, they will only ever pay for that.
Steel fillings are covered, colour matched are extra, dentures are covered, implants aren’t,etc.
less and less is covered with each new election as the system is further and further strained by more takers than contributors."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

My wife just had a week in hospital that was covered by the province so it didn't cost us. She also gets free physio at home , and nurse visits.
We were shocked today, we went to the pharmacy for her meds and not even a filling fee because of the nurse visits apparently.- - Steve

Thanked: 4206Short answer is normally yes they would. I believe qualifiers like lifestyle and likelihood of survival may come into play, but the system does provide for whatever care is needed, at the basic level. Each province runs their own system and we all pay into the collective medical fund through taxes.
Covid has really kicked our health care system though. Tons of tired medical staff ready to quit or retire due to burn out and less than large financial incentives being offered by that same system. So not sure how timely services are currently.
My nasty auto accident couple decades back was a few hundred grand in total costs to put me back together, and I didn’t have to pay for any of it really.
Really do appreciate that component of the Canadian healthcare system. And maple syrup of course..

Thanked: 4206That stuff is going for $110 CDN right now on Amazon.
I went with the lightweight filler in the few spots in needed some help.

Thanked: 4826Being in a different province than Mike, I have zero dental coverage. Also my medical is pretty much no cost to the user as well, even for extensive procedures.
Construction materials have gone up and up. I haven’t priced body filler but I can tell you my wife is paying double for two part clear resin for art projects. I can’t help but feel there is some gouging going on by producers. It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!
