I saw it on a cruise by a tractor forum. It looks to be diesel. In Europe, I think.
A heater would be nice. They had gas and diesel heaters back in the day.

I rest my case.

Saw this today. I thought you'd appreciate it Mike being a fellow enthusiast.

Thanked: 4206Yup that’s a cute lil red roadster.
I’d enjoy something like that as well as my own.
My thrust washers arrived and as expected the .005 thickness is too thick and I’m using my 800 grit stone to bring them down a size and will be getting into the final rebuild this weekend.
Taking my time and getting things dialled in tight.
Happy hump day lads."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Thanked: 4206Finally received my thrust washers so I was able to get back to the rebuild.
As expected, the new thrust washer were so tight as received I needed to hone away a few thou on the back side of them to get the required end float of .004-.006” Good use for my ole king 1k stone.
Worked a treat and so I’ve reinstalled the bottom end and retorqued everything. Here’s the pretty new rear main seal housing in blue.
Bought a new set of innerds for the oil pump, and a new oil strainer basket as mine had a hole in it from someone careless with the oil pan years ago. Was fun to need to relearn my lock wire skills for the oil pump hardware.
So that’s the bottom done, oil pan back on for safe keeping and she’s flipped right side up again to move on to the front plate and timing chain etc.
Maybe I’ll have the cylinder head back on by the weekend.
Happy to be back at it as summer is fast approaching.
Hope y’all are keepin busy lads."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Looking good Mike. Making progress. One nice thing about sportscars is the engines are easier to wield around than a big ol' American V8. That 429 I put in the Ford pickup was a real bear to maneuver. It took 2 men and a boy to move it around. You can probably pull that one all by yourself and I guess maybe you did.
Totally different beasts they are. That great big thing would roar but you didn't do a lot of zipping around with it. Plus it comes at a cost. Floor it in that thing and you could eat a gallon of gas just like that. You get much more bang/buck with the sportscaster for sure. Apples to oranges i know but at the very least the buck goes a lot farther.Iron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend. PR 27:17

Looking good Mike - and thanks for answering my email that the site was under maintenance.
Had the shock of my life - SRP was down, couldn't find it anywhere, thought sheesh, has this site been shut down?
Had a hole in my heart for a few hours thinking such a big part of my life and all the knowledge was gone.
