Thanked: 4206Couple nice vid’s to get your motor runnin boys!
Yes I’m waiting on the parts bus now. All my gaskets and rebuild stuff has arrived, but still waiting on the pistons and sleeves, as well as the flywheel.
Had some snow over night so it’s pretty but paused up here another week probably.."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Meanwhile, I am hard into my boat. Water pump, removing oil injection system (don't trust it!) and new fuel lines, pump., etc.
Carbs off.Hard gunk from dried oil/gas in the bottom
Poking, hand drilling. Custom screwdriver and some crack torch to free the main jets. Crazy.
Cudos to outback for advising!

Yea, working near the shop door with a fan to my back!
Found that some combustion chamber cleaner I have dissolves that thick, gooey congealed oil and old gas fast in the bowls. Filled those and every passage with it last night. also stinky stuff.
Hopefully have these rinsed, blown, and mounted to-day! I had forgotten about working on outboards.

Thanked: 4206Global warming I guess. But pretty to look at.
To me, just a typical changing spring snow storm. Cold front rolled in and bam, winter is back. But just for a week I reckon. Back up into the teens next week temp wise."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

I figure Mike is digging it. He cand spend the time on the car instead of yard/pool!
About done here. Back on with all new fuel hoses. Original clamps were tie-wraps.
I went with safety wire. 21 of 'em.

I was watching the Lightning vs Canadiens game last night. It had been snowing there in Montreal all day. Meanwhile it was 80° in Tampa.

That's some nice wire work Tom!
FedEx says my sleeves are en route! Maybe by the weekend I can start the rebuild.
