    Thanks!

I have gotten may weird looks when after they ask all these silly questions I tell them that the color of the vehicle is white.

And I am wanting to buy brake pads..................

What are you using for a cleaner and then sealer? Painting the tank or such before reinstalling? Just wondering.

Caswell sells a two part interior sealant kit.
I’m using a quart of acetone and a pound of 5/16 loose nuts to slosh and clean the tank first.
Then rinse and dry out thoroughly with a leaf blower. Then seal the openings and fill it with the sealant and rotate all positions for ten minutes. Cures in 24 hours and good to go for another 70 years..

Till dry is all the instructions says. The leaf blower is my idea to speed the process up this far north.
In the sun at 75f they figure 4 hours to fully dry before product application. Up here at 60f, I’m looking for help.
Wife’s away this weekend so I’m moving the project into the kitchen so I can use the furnaces help to ensure the cure goes problem free.

Don’t suppose there will be any fumes from the sealant your wife will be able to detect when she gets home.
