Too noisy to grind any more tonight, but I could test fit my drivers door.

Everything is snug because nothing is nailed but it’s a good feeling that it fits and that the lines are lining back up.

Bought it for the challenge it’s providing. And what better way to distract myself during this crazy pandemic.

Man that's a big job. I wonder if I would ever get that done in my present work state. I sold a '63 Riviera that needed a frame off restoration because I didn't have the place or the time for that project. Fortunately the guy that bought it is doing it up right. Probably have to wait till retirement for that kind of thing. Unfortunately as a small business owner retirement for me probably only happens in the eternal sense.

Had to get creative due to snow loading on my work tent after all the weather of late..
Would really suck to have the roof come down on the evolving frame.
I thought the pitch was enough to have snow slide off the front, but the tarp is a woven material and I think it allowed enough grip for the snow to stick. Have almost 2’ of it on top of the sheeting.
Pulled everything back off the main frame could and moved it all back into the main garage, just in case.

Engine hoist not in use at the moment and a spare 8’ 1/4”thick angle iron to span the middle seems to have shored things up. I was able to eliminate a significant bowing and feel a hell of a lot more safer till the shit melts..

I for one am VERY GLAD that you put the chip board up there.

Any chance of being able to get a push broom and pull the snow off? Just wondering.
