    it went for a lot of cash here too, but i gave a 94 Electra Glide i fixed up and had about 5k in, so i,m ahead on it ,, but i have the motor done and the trans is almost done, been a couple of years piddling around, will be a project to spend more time on in my second retirement. the Electra cost me 3k cash a few winters ago, and i put around 2k in fixing it for sale. next on my list is any Harley in the 20,s doesnt have to be restore-able, its to hang up in my cycle barn, over the bar

    Bart i went over that same pass myself a few years back on my Northwest ride to Roys its a fine ride up there

    Took two weeks but picked a tough time of the year. Went in September so I spent most of the trip looking for altitude since it was to hot everywhere else. The wind in your hair ain't that nice if the temperature is 100+ degrees.
    I may not be as old as dirt, but I do remember when the Dead Sea first begin to feel ill!

    Yep I went up there the last of July, right after leaving Denver meet. So let me tell ya I was in some hot riding. And like normal for August at Strugus it was a ball burner
