Just think how many custom Livi's you could buy for the price of that Patek.

Thanked: 9I absolutely agree with you regarding most PAMs. I think the history of PAM requires cleanliness of the dial and trueness to case designs. I wear my PAM 118 most days (tobacco dial titanium Luminor Marina). It is just awesome. THe idea of a chronograph, etc on a regular Panerai or Radiomir case is a bastard to me as Paneria never historically made any in these cases.
THe only chono ever originally designed was in the 40's but was never made. It was the 5218 Mare Nostrum designed for deck officers. When Paneria finally made them in the early 90s, it was true to the original designs. It is just stunning in person and VERY clean as far as a chrono goes. THe flat bezel is just so cool and the blue dial with tritium markers is the bomb! I would never buy any other Paneria chrono.
I also love my Radiomir 197 (same as 190 but pink gold) with the JLC 8 day movement and sandwich dial. The Radiomir case designs are just beautiful.

Rolex Turn-O-Graph
Here is a picture of my Rolex Turn-O-Graph. If I am not mistaken it is the only Rolex model with a red second hand and red date. The watch is kind of between a date just and a submariner in my opinion. A little more sporty than the date just, but not as big as the submariner.

Thanked: 234yes I admired that for some time. I currently have 2 watches
This was bought for my 18th Birthday, I wore it daily for about 9 months but because of it's width it was getting damaged so I retired it for special occasions. It's a beautiful watch and I love it dearly. I have 194 of 500 worldwide.
Last christmas they bought me for an every day watch, mine has a different strap but you get the idea
Love my watches, I can see my self developing a small collection over the years. My LE rotary will always be my favorite though. I'd like a Movado next.

I collect watches, mainly really inexpensive watches.
I have been interested lately in older russian/soviet mechanicals (hand winding). As a matter of fact, at least two of my russians are accurate to COSC standards!

The most accurate watch (mechanical) I own is a Longines RAF issue from WW II. This one is a 1939 marked on the case back "6B/159" and the "Broad Arrow" (->) showing it's property of His Majesty's Government. Keeps time as good as the best quartz. I also have a Waltham A-11, USAAF navigator's watch. Needs a mainspring...
