Thanks BillyJJeff, no apology necessary. I may very well be tormenting my dog. Here he is wearing a pumpkin helmet on his head:

I told him he had to wear it because he had "gourd duty"
Cool Dan and I like your terrier! However, I don't have a Mac. I have a Dell PC and I use Comic Book Creator. The earlier Evil Mr. Toes comics were done with Word.
Basil gets along very well with Mr. Toes:

He likes to play a game we call Drag The Cat. Mr. Toes usually starts the grabassing..

    Thanks Mike!

Dave, the critters make me laugh every single day. There are days when they are my only source of joy. People come over and see how I treat my pets. They ask why I spoil them by letting them do what they want. The answer is because they spoil me.

Here, let me share more fun Basil stuff with you folks:

Default Still Braggin' After All These Posts

Just to show all my photos of Basil aren't fun and games, this one won a blue ribbon at a major art show in Greenwich, CT. While I think it's a very good picture, I believe the judges were moved by Basil's appearance:

Nice pit, makes me miss mine. While Biko didn't pull competitively he did pull for sport. Like when he pulled and broke his first outdoor chain, or his second. Like when the post got loose he pulled the 3" tree out of the ground. Like when after I had instructed my wife as to how best to take him for a walk he decided to go say hi to someone while dragging her (on the ground). These were while he was still not full grown and he was struggling with his training. One of the happiest dogs I have ever known.....

My dog used to break the cables I put her on. I had a similar solution- hook her to a tow strap with a tire on the other end. At first she could barely heft it around, but after a couple days she was running everywhere. Every few weeks I'd add a cinder block or large piece of granite until it was amazingly heavy. That dog could take off with a ton of weight like it was nothing. The main point of it though was that the tire couldn't go through the same holes under the fence she could

There's a big difference between pulling and tugging. When a dog is on lead he should be under control. Basil is pretty good on a lead. He is trained to "heel" and I try to allow no tugging I try to keep slack in the leash slack all the time. Of course the dog is a pit and easily distracted.

Great videos, and great dog. Way to be a breed ambassador, we need more like you and Basil. I have a Pitbull-boxer mix, best dog I've had. You and Basil keep up the good work.
