It's not as if I smoke a stick daily, I'm a roll my own ciggy man. Generally though, once a month, I treat myself to a Cohiba Robusto. Smoke it in one loooonnnnggg go. My grandad went through 3 or 4 Romeo y Julieta Churchill's per day. He thought, & I agree, refiring a Havana is a crime against its quality. We both like our smoke so full you can chew on it.
I had a Cohiba Maduro Magico yesterday. Best smoke I've ever had & possibly my new monthly. Only problem, they're £20 ($40) a stick . But DAMN what a good hour & a half...

Thanked: 1212The Robustos of "Flor De Selva" are one of my favorites. They offer very consistent quality (which is a problem with many of the Cuban's) at a very competitive price for their class.
Another one of my favorites is the AVO maduro n°2. It is more expensive though (at least here in Belgium).
Enjoy,
Bart.

Thanked: 4Last night I spent an enjoyable ninety minutes or so smoking an Old Henry torpedo (Holts) that was quite a delicious full bodied cigar after a six month nap in the fridgeador. I'm currently puffing a two year old J.L. Salazar toro that's always a dependable smoke.

I have to say, this thread made me want to give cigars another shot. I tried them once while on vacation, but that was it. The only brand names that I remembered while at the local smoke shop were Griffon (which I didn't see) and Ashton. I picked up a 10 pack of Ashton Cigarillos for about $11 and had a go with one tonight. Quite a nice start for a non smoker.

I mostly smoke a pipe, but when I have a cigar, lately it's been a newer line: Avo. The number 9 is especially nice for a nice lighter smoke.

Actually, I smoke pipe, but on weekends I like cigars with cognac.
Now I have a box of "La Aroma De Cuba", quite pleasant cigars.Alex Ts.

Quo Vadis churchills. Sadly, no longer made, but a fantastic value and a very decent cigar. When I'm in the mood for something quick, a Thompson's Rum Punch is a nice little 4.5x40 or so that I can smoke in five minutes. Also, the Acid Krush is a nice quickie cigar if you are into aromatics.
