Again sitting on the porch, smoking Prince Albert in a Missouri Pride cob.

Maybe not so fine; but a good back to basics smoke.

A great smoking day yesterday at Riegel's Pipe & Tobacco Covington Plaza store; joined by Joe Cardone and Larry Rathburn. All C & D mixtures today. First Odessa in an Ehrlich meerschaum bulldog, and as it SMELLS like the old white tinned Balkan Sobranie, it wasn't quite there in the flavor dept. Good in its own right but not the B. S. of memory. Joe gave me a tin of it, though, so some day I'll smoke more of it. There are over 50 tins now in my Rubbermade bin tobacco cellar, so it may be a few years till I get to it. Then some 9 yr old Black Duck in a Custom-Bilt squashed tomato. MAN was THAT nice! Then Purple Cow, a great change-of-pace mix w/ cigar leaf, in a no-name billiard from Howard Schulte. Finally Organic Pipe Dreams in the Ehrlich meerschaum bulldog that I started the day with. It was rather dry (which I usually prefer) but I didn't care for this one at all; to me rather harsh and not enough flavor. Give me the non-organic tobaccos any day!

Been slacking on my posts. My new 400 stick Humi arrived, got it stabilized and loaded. I have a box of Rocky Patel double Maduro on order along with a box of Solo Cubano Sumatra (rolled in the Oliva factory, should be good). Enjoyed a La Arora, Oliva G, Patel olde world reserve Toro Maduro and a CAO L’Anniversaire Maduro and Punch, don’t remember which one but it was a Sumatra wrapper and tasty, among others this week. It was a good week.

It was a good day, had a Romeo y Julieta Viejo ‘C’ (Churchill) and a nice bottle of Merlot. I really like these Viejo’s, I may have to get a full box.

    Got a new box, mmmmmmm

Had a Sol Cubano Sumatra, pretty good, bold, sweet, put a Connecticut to rest as well, milder but flavorful, good smokes.

In Toledo sitting at casa da la havana (my favorite cigar bar) enjoying a CAO MX2 Toro. I have a thing for CAO cigars, i just got a box of them. Two boxes in two days, I am finished purchasing cigars for this month.
