The Entire Stout with a Minted Lamb Burger, followed by a Landmark Vanilla Bean Brown Ale at Welcome to The Old Toad. Came home and had a Sancho Panza Double Maduro out on the deck.

Last night brought a charity cigar dinner at a local restaurant. A steady stream of great cigars from Tatuaje, interupted only by a huge bone in ribeye and a few Stolis (ok, and some decent Oregon Pinot). I'm not even sure which Tatuajes I had....Lynn and Don will have to fill in the details. In fact, I challenge them to do so. Spelling counts, and no peeking at the website. Great night....lots of razor, watch and cigar talk.

We're having a bit of a heat wave right now, which means it's martini weather, so I had a Beefeater martini with Vya vermouth, three drops of orange bitters, and three Italian olives. Beefeater is a grossly underrated gin.

A Savoy maduro, two black & tans, and the season finale (season 1) of Spooks; all while out on the deck. Now, it's into the kitchen to get to cooking. I'm thinking a three bean chili...

A friend stopped by and I smoked some of his C & D Berry Good in a Bauer meerschaum apple and then some of their Odessa in a Ser Jacopo Maigret (a VERY chubby billiard).

Friday is champagne night in our house. Last night's selection was Frank Bonville Grand Cru Prestige Brut. This small maker is producing some superb champagnes.
